This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to Pan Marine shipping service success.As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and helping to drive informed business decisions

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices for terminal services (Loading, Unloading, shunting, etc.) to Shipping line.
  • Prepare and issue invoices for terminal services (storage, shunting, customs handling, etc.) to customers.
  • Upload all invoices to the tax portal in accordance with local tax regulations.
  • Ensure accurate billing for all import/export charges, gate fees, and related terminal services.
  • Track payments from customers/ Shipping line, ensuring timely receipt and settlement of charges.
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices and handle payment discrepancies.
  • Reconcile terminal revenue with operations data (e.g., discharged vehicles, deliveries, customs releases).
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
  • Assist with calculating and managing any customs-related fees or charges that need to be collected from customers.
  • Generate regular financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and profit/loss statements for terminal management.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’ degree in accounting
  • From 3-5 years’ experience preferably in shipping filed
  • Microsoft Office proficient
