You will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and helping to drive informed business decisions
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices for terminal services (Loading, Unloading, shunting, etc.) to Shipping line.
- Prepare and issue invoices for terminal services (storage, shunting, customs handling, etc.) to customers.
- Upload all invoices to the tax portal in accordance with local tax regulations.
- Ensure accurate billing for all import/export charges, gate fees, and related terminal services.
- Track payments from customers/ Shipping line, ensuring timely receipt and settlement of charges.
- Follow up with clients on outstanding invoices and handle payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile terminal revenue with operations data (e.g., discharged vehicles, deliveries, customs releases).
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
- Assist with calculating and managing any customs-related fees or charges that need to be collected from customers.
- Generate regular financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and profit/loss statements for terminal management.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and audit requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’ degree in accounting
- From 3-5 years’ experience preferably in shipping filed
- Microsoft Office proficient
