DFDS Establishes First RORO Line in Egypt via Pan Marine!
DFDS, in a historic move for Egypt's maritime shipping sector, is partnering with Pan Marine to launch the first-ever RORO shipping line that connect Egypt with Europe. This new route, officially commencing in October 2024, will link the Italian port of Trieste with Damietta, Egypt.
The RORO service promises to transform the transportation of time-sensitive agricultural goods, and frozen products between Egypt and Europe countries via Trieste. The agreement boasts a fleet of RORO vessels capable of handling a staggering 420 trucks weekly, ensuring efficient and high-volume movement of cargo.
