At Pan Marine Shipping Services, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental protection in the shipping industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team.you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety throughout our operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to terminal operations (loading/unloading, vehicle movement, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
  • Regularly inspect the terminal, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards.
  • Perform safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions for terminal staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Provide specialized training for high-risk tasks such as handling dangerous goods (DG) or operating heavy machinery.
  • Monitor for any safety breaches or incidents within the terminal.
  • Investigate accidents, near-misses, and environmental issues, and compile detailed reports with recommendations for preventing recurrence.
  • Oversee waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability practices in the terminal.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for the terminal, including fire safety, spill control, and evacuation procedures.
  • Stay updated on new safety regulations and industry practices, implementing them in terminal operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • From 3-6 years of experience in the HSE filed (worked before on safety in operation sites/Terminals)
  • Safety certificate as OSHA or equivalent.
  • Excellent Analysis Skills and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Leadership Skills
