We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of our fleet, ensuring that our vessels operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for terminal equipment such as Tug Masters, forklifts, cranes, and other machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with mechanical and electrical equipment in the terminal.
- Supervise urgent repairs and coordinate with external service providers when necessary.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures for handling terminal equipment.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities meet local regulatory and environmental standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate orders for parts and materials with vendors to avoid downtime.
- Keep detailed logs of all maintenance work performed and submit reports to terminal management.
- Analyze maintenance costs and recommend budget-friendly solutions for improving equipment longevity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- From 3-6 Years of Experience
- Experience in Lifting Equipment
- Excellent Analysis Skills and Problem-Solving Skills
- Leadership Skills
